When we were dead in our sin, God made us alive in Messiah. (Eph 2:4-5)

In March 2009 the Gonzales family, along with a few like-minded families and singles, began the work which became the Front Range Messianic Community. For six years Michael served the community as the church planter, as an elder, and the primary teacher.

The Front Range Messianic Community was a Yeshua-Centered, Torah-Based, Family-Integrated, Messianic Congregation in Arvada, Colorado from March 14, 2009 to March 14, 2015.

The community’s first three Shabbat Services were held in the Gonzales’ living room with 32 friends. They were then blessed with the basement of a small building where they met for almost a year. Their location changed three times during the life of the community but they always stayed in the Westminster/Arvada area.

The two distinctive characteristics of the Front Range Messianic Community were their dedication to family integration and their commitment to expository preaching. Family integration means that families attend services together rather than children and/or teens attending their own classes, children’s church, or youth group separate from their parents. Expository preaching is when the pastor teaches through a passage of Scripture and presents the meaning and intent of a biblical text, providing commentary and examples to make the passage clear and understandable.

Below are many of Michael’s sermons and teachings that were delivered at Front Range.
